Welcome to the world of Jacmus Prime, a medieval fantasy role-play community that uses chat and forum utilities.

Our world evolves with our players' creations and fantasies. Once a thriving civilization it was forced back into dark times and magicless days by a Holocaust God War.  Slowly the people rebuilt their villages into powerful Cities only to be set upon by the walking dead or invaded by other Kingdoms.

Everyone who role-plays within Jacmus Prime, every character, has a chance to create their own story, to rebuild the world and its Gods and to discover once again the pure quintessence of magic, good and evil.

All it takes is imagination.

If you enjoy reading, writing and watching fantasy stories then you may enjoy role-playing at Jacmus Prime. You could say textual role play is like playing make-believe in the backyard as a child with a few differences:
1. People who play text based role play games range in ages. Most of our membership are twenty something with a few in the older generations.
2. The role-play takes place in a private chat room or on a forum and not in the backyard.
3. Though you can still play with your brothers, sisters, neighbours... you could ALSO be playing with people from all over the world, from all walks of life.

People who play text based games aren't necessarily brilliant writers. Even though we strive to be imaginative and we strive to provide a balance between prose and dialogue, our command of the English language may often fall short of expectations. We're not here to judge how well you write, or how well you portray your character or correct your spelling at every chance, we're here to have fun and to lose ourselves within the imagination of our collective group of friends for a few entertaining hours a week.

If you enjoy building fantasy worlds then I invite you to join us in expanding our Geofiction. Through our collaborative Wiki you can contribute to the World of JP and invite other players to provide their advice and idea's through interactive polls and surveys.

Players have the ability to create and edit their own wiki pages and control who else gets to edit them or read them. Players can invite other players to join their wiki page editing group - a great feature for clan or class based role-play, or for restricting game information from other players (wonderful tool for game masters!).
