Fagus Larins Tattoo Parlour
Tucked away in the converted dungeons of Old Fort Sedia, dwells Fagus Larin and his tattoo parlour, one of few such specialty shops to be found in Jacmus-Prime. His trade although well documented, is an uncommon one and rarely possessed by non-descendants of the barbarian families scattered throughout the lands. Fagus’s skills were handed down to him from generations past, and while he stays faithful to the teachings of his people, he never truly fit in to the life-style. As soon as he had the money and the expertise, he set up his business in Sedia, where he could take advantage of passing trade and resources from the profitable shipping town of Port Sedia.
Upon taking the frequent running ferry from Port Sedia to Old Fort Sedia, head directly through the main doors and turn left before you walk in to the wall. Take a right at the flooded staircase and follow the corridor, straight down a large flight of stairs to the old dungeons. Once inside, Fagus shouldn’t be hard to find, most likely testing and mixing inks in the main chamber. In the neighbouring chamber, the old cells from when it was used as a dungeon remain in tact, serving as beds for those recovering from the more potent of the magical tattoos.
Fagus charges honestly, but prices vary regularly as availability of some of the more rare inks he uses fluctuates. Consequently, the price list for the magical tattoos is only a rough estimation, and a more realistic price can be agreed upon at the time.
When it comes to non-magical tattoos, customers generally arrive with something in mind and possibly a few examples, but Fagus does keep a set of stencils and images to work from if they’d care to choose from his modest selection.
Before utilizing any sort of magical tattoo in an RP session, please refer to the Magical Tattoos for a more information.

Group Insignia
|
Bearers wearing the same Insignia usually a family or clan symbol can telepathically contact one another, but can only send a limited amount of information across the link. The simple message goes out to everyone bearing the insignia, and tells them roughly the direction and distance of the sender. To form a distinctive link, the tattoo is drawn with a concoction of inks unique to the particular group insignia, meaning the tattoo can only consist of one colour. To activate the link, the sender simply touches the tattoo, and wills it in to life. |

| Tattoo Removal |
Certain inks are known to cancel out the magical effects of others, which is the first step in having a magical tattoo removed. Once this process has been performed usually very painful, and can once again leave bearer susceptible to illness, the tattoo will usually be burned away to allow the unpainted skin to grow back. Always leaves some scarring. |
| Beds |
The after-effects of a magical tattoo leave the bearer weakened to illness, and to varying extents depending on depiction, nauseous. The effects aren’t always instantaneous, so it is advised that the bearer goes home to rest, but simple beds in an old dungeon cell can be rented overnight to give the bearer time to rest before their journey home. |
| Insignia Ink Storage |
Group Insignia tattoos rely on an intricate mixture of different inks, which is often hard for Fagus to replicate if the original batch is used up. He’ll mix a small jar full of the unique concoction, and one can either take it home with them to keep safe themselves, or pay a humble one-off fee for Fagus to store it safely until it’s needed again. |
