Lexicon
AFK Away from keyboard.
Auto/Force hit. Means a forced attack and connect within a single post/an attack that has no possible way of dodge no matter the circumstance or character it is used on, and/or didn't correctly follow the rules of engagement.
Example :Coolguy18956:Kicks Tom in the nose causing it to break.
BRB Be right back...similiar to AFK, however when used in this term it means I'll be back in a few moments rather than for a long period of time.
BBL Be back Later, often used when someone is going to get offline for a while and return later on in the evening, mourning, or afternoon.

Free Form Role-play Is where players assume a character and respond to events around them through that character. These games don't usually involve a a game master but instead the players control the game. Using a general set of guidelines play is based on trust between players.
GTG or G2G Got to go.
IC Means in character
Ignore/Iggy This is when someone places another person on ignore whereby they can not see what the other person is typing. This is done for a various amount of reasons, more often depending on what you would find annoying or not.
IRL In real life.
LOL Laughing out loud
LMAO Laughing my ass off
Never Ending Story refers to the style of play where one person posts a turn and another person posts in response to that, and so on, continuing a story. This style suites interactive fiction and free form. Many adventures can take place within the story and play continues on until the players quit or it is agreed that a new story should begin.
Newbie/Noob is a person who is new to roleplaying or to chat in general.
OOC When your out of character
N/M Nevermind.
NP No Problem
NPC Non-player-character; as it says, an NPC is not neccisasily played by a character, but their actions are determined by the discretion of the gamer.
Para Paragraph. Often said as 'Para RP' referring to roleplay that is written in consistant paragraphs as opposed to single sentences. Many roleplayers prefer this method of roleplay.
PC Means Power-Character, this is usually said when someone is using powers that their character should not have. Making this person "invincable." Also stands for 'Player Character' in many RPGs.

Realms Are the varoius places in chat where you would go to roleplay with fellow rpers. A realm is basically more or less the setting/world/universe/land in which the characters live.
Sargaso Continent of Jacmus Prime
Spam or Spamming Is when someone types in only a few words causing the screen to move up so that the prevous lines are no longer visible. This is done quickly and tends to get annoying. This is also called scrolling.
Staff Are the people that bring to you the realm's rules, graphics, web page and moderation. These people are dedicated roleplayers that frequently help to keep the realm running.
